deadlock.best is a reference for Deadlock's ranked system as it works after the July 30, 2026 Matchmaking Update — the rank ladder, the requirements for entering Ranked, how Rank Points move, and where players actually place.

Why it exists

When the 2026 update landed, much of what ranked players could find online was written for the old system — retired rank names, outdated thresholds, distribution charts with unlabeled data. This site was started to answer the questions the update actually raised, using the current rules.

How facts are sourced

• Game rules and numbers come from Valve's own published patch notes and announcements. Where a figure comes from community documentation instead, the page says so explicitly.
• Statistics that change over time, such as rank distribution, are labeled with their source, what they count, and the date the snapshot was taken.
• When something has no confirmed answer, the page says that rather than guessing.
